The Gordon Brothers Team specializes in South Ajax and Whitby real estate, with particularly deep experience in South Ajax communities near Lake Ontario. For more than 20 years, Doug and Rich Gordon and their team have helped homeowners, sellers and buyers navigate local real estate decisions, drawing on firsthand experience working in these neighbourhoods.
Real estate has been part of Doug and Rich’s lives since long before they became REALTORS®. Their father, Ron Gordon, was a real estate broker and the owner of a RE/MAX office for 35 years, giving Doug and Rich an early introduction to the business and the communities it serves.
Today, The Gordon Brothers Team operates with Revel Realty Inc., Brokerage. Alongside his role leading the team, Doug Gordon is the head coach at Revel Realty Durham, where he leads and mentors other real estate professionals.

Deep knowledge of South Ajax’s lakefront communities
Much of that experience has been built in Ajax and Whitby communities near Lake Ontario: Southwood, Pickering Beach, Lakeside and Whitby Shores. Each has its own housing characteristics, streets, access to the waterfront and factors that can influence how buyers evaluate a property and how sellers position a home for the market.
In Southwood, that includes established homes on mature streets close to Lake Driveway and the waterfront trail. In Pickering Beach, properties range from cottage-era builds to newer homes and can differ in their proximity and access to the lake. Farther east, Lakeside includes newer residential areas between Shoal Point Road and Lakeridge Road South. In Whitby Shores and Port Whitby, homes are close to the Lake Ontario waterfront, with access to waterfront parks, trails and the Whitby Harbour area, plus proximity to the GO Train and commuter highways.
Local real estate knowledge is more than knowing where a neighbourhood begins and ends. It means understanding how location, property type, lot characteristics, proximity to the lake, recent comparable sales, current competition and buyer demand can affect the way an individual home is evaluated.
